B&H Checklist:

home | Inspirations: B&H Checklist: Site

Site

A B&H Home  is fitted to the site: views, orientation and grading must relate to the building solution so every home design includes a site plan and concept for outdoor rooms and landscape.  Much thought is given to daylighting and capturing prevailing winds and solar power whenever possible.

Tailor Fit

A B&H Home is tailored to the client.  We believe a home should make life easier, fuller and richer.  Life is full of little hassles that are beyond our control so your home should be hassle free.  Designs should Include details like a place to recharge the cell phone or store recyclables as well as rooms that are scaled for large family gatherings and intimate reading for one.

Elegant Solutions

Cleverly simple solutions. Function is first and foremost but form is just as important so the design must be beautiful to the homeowners eye and yet be functional. B&H homes prove that green need not mean ugly. We use key design principles like order, compositions, proportion and repetition to give our homes a pleasing quality.

Timeless Designs

At B & H Homes, we avoid fads and design around trends. A trend may be a popular feature that most homeowners want like a mud room. We embrace trends but never include gimmicky solutions or design ideas that won’t stand the test of time.
