The House with the View is located in the countryside of Ellicottville and enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the nearby ski slopes.  The house straddles across a hilltop and provides an abundance of living space with a wrap-around porch, cedar elements, dormers, exterior cedar posts, and a trussed frame entry porch.  The olive green hearty board siding nestles the house into the site, and stone components rise from the ground.

A fireplace divides the dining room from the family room and pickled pine woodwork is juxtaposed against other reclaimed barnwood siding, traditional stained floors, and stonework.  The many rustic components are balanced by a lighter version of a traditional timber frame home. The open floor plan offers views and connections between rooms, including loft space that overlooks the great room and a two story fireplace through the center of the house.  The garage provides an area for guest space, and an office, and is connected through a set of back stairs.
