Roycroft Ranch

It is easy to get set in our ways of which room is which in our homes. Whether it is the “family room”, or the “TV room”, it can be hard to reimagine a space once we have already given it a role. However, this updated ranch proves that any space can be reimagined and relocated. In this house, the family room occupied more than enough space to be converted into a large dine-in kitchen, complete with an island and banquette. The removal of the walls surrounding the fireplace in the former family room connects the kitchen to a new family space. The former kitchen became a segway to a full laundry room. These transformations gave this out of date ranch a fresh feel and a modern, yet classic look.
